Is it crazy that it’s time to start talking about the holidays? Feels like summer was yesterday, I think I’m holding on a little too tight this year. Time flies when you’re having fun! Just another reason to embrace it, capture some memories, cherish those sweet moments with your kiddos.

Here’s a look at our 2017 Holiday card lineup. Orders must be placed by November 14th to ensure you have time to send them out to your family and friends before Christmas.

I’m excited to announce I will be doing kids Holiday mini sessions in studio this year. More details to come once the scene is set, stay tuned. Feel free to reach out if you want to get your name on the early bird list, there will be a bonus with early bookings!

We have a couple more spots left for Fall family sessions, the colours are radiant this year! They are going quickly, now is the time to book.

I have been bursting at the seems to share my big news all month long! If you follow my Instagram then you may have already figured it out as I’ve dropped a few clues…
Alicia Thurston Photography has a new home, a studio to call our very own, yay! I am so excited. Our studio is conveniently located on Kingston Road near Fallingbrook Road in the Beach. It’s an amazing space to meet with clients and big enough that I can now offer corporate and lifestyle head shots.
Of course, my first “client” had to be Lindsay since she was such a huge help in making my studio come to life. Thank you so much for helping me paint, furniture shop, design and hunt for random goodies along the way. I couldn’t have done it without you, Linds!

Avi and David were so much fun to work with, lighthearted, always laughing and completely in love! Their May wedding fell on an unusually hot day, so hot we had to rethink some of our outdoor shoot locations, but given the awesome venue that didn’t throw a glitch in our day one bit.

Avi and David planned their first look at the exact same spot they met, just outside the Ballroom in downtown Toronto. I loved being able to capture such an exciting moment somewhere that already carried so much meaning for them.

The venue they chose for their wedding day is The Fifth – super stylish ex-loft that’s perfect for weddings.  The lovely flowers were done by The Colour Field, and the St Royals band provided the music.
