After a period of 7 days from the date of signing the contract, as compensation for loss of income for Alicia Thurston Photography, the following charges apply as a percentage of the total fee due. (Number of days before the wedding) 30 days or less – 100%, 31-60 days – 75%, 61-90 days - 50%. Should the cancelled wedding turn out to be a postponement, then, subject to availability, all money paid may be applied to the new wedding based upon availability. If Alicia Thurston Photography is unavailable, all monies are non-refundable and payment is required in full. If Alicia Thurston Photography is unable to rebook a wedding of equal or greater value for said wedding date, client is responsible for the fees as stated above. In the event of Alicia Thurston Photography taking another wedding booking for your cancelled or postponed date a full refund of your monies paid minus the non-refundable retaining fee shall be made. If Photographer is unable to perform to the guide lines of this contract due to a fire or other casualty, natural disaster, act of terrorism, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to a grave illness of photographer; and if the Photographer is unable to provide another photographer that is agreeable to the client, then all fees paid by the client will be returned in full, Alicia Thurston Photography shall have no further liability with respect to the agreement. If Alicia Thurston Photography is unable to perform to the obligations in this contract for reasons outside of the sole control of Alicia Thurston, she will not be liable for costs in excess of the amount the client has paid. This limitation of liability will also apply in the event that negatives or digital images are lost through camera malfunction, damaged in processing, lost in the mail, or otherwise damaged or lost without fault of the photographer, Alicia Thurston. The digital download link with all high res images is for personal use only, including printing and preserving. The images may not be used for any other purpose including giving images to other wedding vendors, photographers or selling for profit. Please initial.

The Photographer will be the exclusive photographer retained by Client to photograph the wedding; including other professionals and amateurs. Family and friends of the Client are permitted to take photographs as long as they do not interfere with the Photographer's duties and do not take images of poses arranged by Photographer. Photographing any specific moment is not guaranteed by Photographer. The Client may present Photographer with a list of suggested photos, but the Photographer is unable to guarantee those photos. If we have been hired for a minimum of 7 hours or we are present for the meal, the photographer and assistant must be provided with a meal. If we are not seated in the room with the guests, we do not guarantee coverage of that time i.e. speeches, kissing, dancing etc. Please initial.

It is illegal to use or copy images in any way or manner without written permission of Photographer. Clients will have rights to a print release permitting personal use and personal printing of all images. Photographer retains all copyright. Please initial.

Although great care will be taken with the negatives and/ or files taken at the wedding, Photographer limits liability for loss, damage or failure to deliver pictures for any reason unforeseen to return of all deposits made. Please initial.

In the event Clients determine that a postponement of the wedding is necessary due to Covid-19 health concerns, Clients must Notify Alicia Thurston Photography within 30 days of the original wedding date. Alicia Thurston Photography will allow Clients to reschedule the wedding one (1) time within a 12 month period of the original wedding date without a rescheduling fee or changes to the wedding photography package pricing. The retainer and all other payments made by Clients up to the date of rescheduling due to Covid-19 are non-refundable and will transfer over to the rescheduled wedding/date. The final remainder due by Clients under this Agreement will be moved to 30 days prior to the new rescheduled wedding date. Clients understand and agree that it is their responsibility to work with Alicia Thurston Photography to find a mutually agreeable rescheduled date. Alicia Thurston Photography will give Clients first choice of all available dates on its calendar within the 12 month period. If Clients determine not to reschedule and cancel the wedding altogether, or choose a new wedding date that Alicia Thurston Photography is not available for, the retainer and all other payments made by Clients are still non-refundable, such payments will be credited to Clients’ account, and credit may be used for any type of services offered by Company within 12 months from the date of cancellation. Should Clients fail to Notify Alicia Thurston Photography of any postponement or cancellation within 30 days of the original wedding date, Clients forfeit the retainer and all fees paid or due under this Agreement.

Photographs taken and presented by Alicia Thurston may be used by Photographer for the purpose of display, portfolio, advertising, website or any publication to promote her studio or name, and the images can be used without additional compensation to the undersigned. Please initial.
